MK Goh
Chief Executive Officer, Karex Berhad

Goh Miah Kiat is the Chief Executive Officer of Karex Berhad, the World’s Largest Condom Maker. He has been overseeing the expansion of the Karex’s manufacturing capacity and foray into the branded segment of the condom industry since the Group’s listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 2013. Karex’s expansion has been supplemented by an emphasis on innovation, which can be observed through its new product developments and unorthodox marketing strategies that have allowed it to venture into broader markets and undertake a series of bold brand acquisitions. As a result, Karex presently exports to over 130 countries worldwide and its rapidly growing own brand segment is enabling the Group to move up the value chain and closer to its end users. MK was also named winner of the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of The Year 2016 Malaysia award. Dubbed ‘The Condom King’, MK and his wife, Jennifer are avid art collectors.

Nizam Rahmat
Chief Executive Officer, Segaris Art Center

Nizam Rahmat is the Chief Executive Officer of Segaris Art Center, Kuala Lumpur. Previously, he headed the Arts Management Department of Galeri PETRONAS. He obtained his master’s degree in Art & Design under Fine Arts & Technology faculty from UiTM and although he started his career in Advertising and garnered numerous awards, as a practicing artist himself, his skill set is of great value in the business of Art Market and Gallery Management. Since his tenure as the chief of Segaris Art Center, the gallery has represented and partake in a few notable ventures; namely the Private Collection of HRH Sultan Selangor Exhibition; Terrains of the Heart (2017), Altruism Charity Exhibition with Galeri Prima under Media Prima (2017), Tengku Laksmana Johore Cancer Foundation Fund Raising Printmaking Exhibition – Legacy to My Family: Memoirs of Enche Besar (2018), Kuala Lumpur International Miniprint Exhibition (KLIMEX) with Teras Management Yogyakarta (2018 & 2019), Bintang 5 Exhibition – Biggest UiTM Alumni Show feat. 168 Artists (1967- 2017) (2018 & 2019), Beda Exhibition – Alumni of Institute Seni Indonesia (ISI) & UiTM Alumni (2019) and Art Against Aids Exhibtion with Karex Malaysia Berhad (2020). Other than that, under his directive, Segaris Art Center has been active in art fairs and expos i.e. Art Expo Malaysia, Art Jakarta and Art Moments Jakarta.

Bingley Sim
Art Collector

Bingley Sim is an investment banker with CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and is currently heading the Private Client Solutions unit within the Private Banking Department. He is an independent director of a listed property developer and a member of the Listing Committee of Bursa Malaysia. Bingley started collecting art in 2004. His collection of Contemporary Malaysian Art focuses especially on emerging local painters and sculptors. A well-known patron of the local art scene, Bingley is one of the founding members of the Malaysian Art Friends group (2009) and had been involved in many fundraising art activities. He is also one of the Patrons for Art Jakarta 2019. Bingley had curated in numerous art exhibitions on collecting Malaysian contemporary art. He has a passion for cooking and in 1994, co-wrote a book “How to Run Your Own Restaurant” (Kogan Page, UK).

Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina
Actress; Film & Musical Theatre Producer

Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina Eu Effendi has a career spanning over 30 years in the art and film industry. She is a Malaysian actress, film producer, musical theatre producer, singer, and the founder of The Enfiniti Academy of Musical Theatre and Performing Arts – an institution that aims to nurture creative talents in Malaysia. Tiara Jacquelina is praised for her role in Puteri Gunung Ledang, in which she played the lead character and sang the theme song, “Asmaradana”. Following the film’s success, she later staged it as a musical at Istana Budaya in 2006 with the title, Puteri Gunung Ledang: The Musical. Aside from appearing on stage and on camera, Tiara Jacquelina also serves as the managing director of Enfiniti Vision Media, a Malaysian arts, entertainment, and television production company.

Intan Rafiza Abu Bakar
Curator, National Art Gallery of Malaysia

Intan Rafiza is a curator of National Art Gallery of Malaysia and actively involved in performance art as an artist. Graduating with a BA in Fine Art from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. She attended The 5th Gwangju Biennale International Curator Course, Gwangju, South Korea in 2013; Research Trip, Forum and Workshop, World Biennial Forum No.2, Sao Paulo Brazil in 2014 and Alumni Workshop of The 5th Gwangju Biennale International Curator Course, Gwangju, South Korea in 2015. She was one of the speakers for Webinar Series Creative Economy in Southeast Asia,”Welcoming the International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development, 2021″ Episode V: Visual Arts by Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy / Tourism and Economy Agency of The Republic of Indonesia in 2020. In the role of a curator, she has curated Democracy in Action, In conjunction with FORSEA (Forces of Renewal Southeast Asia) Conference in 2019; PUBLIKART( Public art project) ,co-curated with Yeoh Lian Heng, Nusajaya, Johor in 2016 and M50: Selamat Hari Malaysia ,co-curated with Nani Kahar, White Box, Publika, Kuala Lumpur in 2013.
She has been practicing performance art for the past 17 years and her latest performance pieces were in audio series for Center for Arts, Design and social Research, Boston, Massachusetts USA, entitled Roots become Ritual No.2 in 2020, Root become Ritual at University Applied Art Vienna Austria & State -less mind Performance Art at Copenhagen Denmark in 2019, Resident Artist at Gluck50, Milan Italy in 2018, Asiatopia Conference SE Asia at Bangkok, Thailand in 2016; 5th Beyond Pressure Festival at Myanmar in 2012; and her first performance is entitled I’m Not Here, Nor There (in collaboration with Malaysia, Indonesian & Japan Artist) at National Art Gallery of Malaysia in 2004.
