Through a collaboration with Malaysian AIDS Foundation and partners including Mydin, the SustainAID programme provides consistent, structured support to shelters and communities across Malaysia.
Now in its second term, the programme has extended its reach across five states — Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pulau Pinang, Pahang, and Terengganu — supporting 10 shelters and 296 residents.
This long-term approach helps ensure continuity of care, stability, and access to essential support systems for communities affected by HIV/AIDS.

For many years, AAA has worked closely with PT Foundation, one of Malaysia’s key community-based organisations supporting people affected by HIV/AIDS and marginalised communities.
Support has contributed towards essential operational needs including rental, utilities, and refurbishment of community spaces — helping ensure continuity of safe, accessible services.
Recent contributions from AAA funds have also supported the continuation of PT Foundation’s Positive Living Programme.
The programme provides psychosocial support, counselling, community care, and health education for individuals living with HIV — focusing on dignity, wellbeing, and long-term support rather than short-term intervention.
It also helps strengthen community resilience by creating safe spaces for engagement, guidance, and ongoing care.
At SEED Foundation, support helped sustain essential operations, including rental and utilities, as well as the development of a Drop-In Centre in Chow Kit.
This space provides a safe, accessible environment for outreach, support services, and community engagement — strengthening on-the-ground efforts to reach individuals who may otherwise face barriers to care.
Support for Rumah Solehah focused on improving living conditions across its women’s and children’s shelters.
Upgrades included structural repairs, installation of safety features such as emergency exit access, and improvements to essential facilities like water and electrical systems.
These enhancements help ensure that residents have access to safe, stable, and dignified living environments.
Funding was provided to Pertubuhan Kebajikan & Kesihatan Umum (PKKUM) to support operational needs, including rental and utilities.
This support helps sustain the organisation’s ongoing efforts in providing care, outreach, and assistance to communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
In Terengganu, efforts supported Komuniti CAKNA through the provision of daily life essentials and basic assistance.
